The Sai Centre In the Sai Organisation the Sai Centre
is the focal point through which aspirants can pursue their spiritual paths
in the company of kindred souls. Any person, who is a spiritual
aspirant, has faith in the teachings of Baba, and who is willing to abide by
the Nine Point Code of Conduct and the
Regulations of the Organisation in force will be treated as a Member. Members
that are in a position to devote at least four hours a week to activities of
the Organisation shall be treated as Active Workers. How a Centre/Group develops will
obviously depend on its members; and will follow the Regulations and
Guidelines laid down by the Organisation. Sai Centres are required to have a
minimum membership of not less than nine persons and to engage in at least
two of the three wings of the Organisation, i.e. spiritual, educational or
service. If a group has less than 9 members and is only involved in one
of the above activities it may apply to be registered as an Affiliated Group. The Sri Sathya Sai Service
Organisation consists of a worldwide network of Sai Centres. They are found
in over 145 countries worldwide. These Centres are administratively grouped
under one of the regions of the country. Each region has its own officers and
activities. Coordinators from fifteen international regions make up the
Central Council, which is directed by Sathya Sai Baba. The headquarters is
located in Prashanti Nilayam in Puttaparthi, India. For details on the
